SMBC has a large audience that is growing all the time. Each day, SMBC reaches between 1400 and 1700 people. SMBC also has the unusual high page view ratio of about 10-15 page views per visitor. As such, page views average around 15,000-20,000 per day. The average viewer visits the site for approximately 4-5 minutes.

So, if you buy a week of ads, that means your ad will likely be seen over 150,000 times by over 10,000 visitors.

Where will it be?

The ad will run in one of the two boxes on the right side of the webpage. Location will be subject to availability.

What are the limits?

Number one rule - nothing offensive. I consider SMBC to generally be a PG-13 comic, with nothing too gratuitous. Use your best judgement.

What type of file can I run?

As far as size, please make your pictures 200x300. You can go smaller if you like, but no larger.

You can have any type of file as long as the size isn't unreasonable. You can do flash, shockwave, etc., but please try to keep the file size below 100k (preferably below 50k). I am flexible on this one, especially if the ad is something cool or unusual.

Will you draw/write an ad for me?

With delight, for a small added fee.

Can I use SMBC characters in my ad?

Certainly. In fact, I encourage it, so long as you don't clip any art from original SMBC comics.

How do I get my ad on SMBC?

The current rate is two bucks per day, or ten bucks for a week. In order to get online, send me an email. We accept payment through paypal, or through check (I'll email you my address if you need it). Either way, as soon as we've got the money, the ad will go up.
