Or the lack thereof.

That has nothing to do with practicality, and a lot to do with mental stability.

Seriously. If you act practical, the terrorist will win.

Every day, when you are in a new place, just yell out "I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE UP TO!"

The life you save may be your own.

That can be taught, by the way...

Complaining is fun. Wanting to enforce confirmist rules in an otherwise anticonformist environnement is too. Practicality isn't.

That must be why?

I remembered I have a firefox add-on called "adblock". If I right click an image, I can "adblock" it, meaning it'll never appear on my screen again. Jeez, why didn't I think of that before?!

If I could bring all the girls to my yard, I sure as heck wouldn't be here.

Dude,

Your call in the end, but our forums habit and our small community has really only a handful of rules. One of wich is to not resort to awful sigs that would totally bring all the girls to the yard on forums for lobotomised halo player (there's like variety in forums, therefore i'm pretty sure there is either a forum already in place to gather this particular crowd, or there is somewhere on the internet a place of the same intellectual level). I would be thankful if you could look in the matter once more, since you said you wanted to fit in, at some place or another in your spree of posting. The best way to accomplish this is to not try to stand out by using this outrageous forum make up in our relatively granoly (on this very point, not in general) place of communication.

Sure, we can only tell you so, and rant endlessly about it, but seriously, stop it.

Thank you in advance for your attention.

Fearful, you are.
Enamored with a pole, you seem to be.
Much tension within your loins I do sense.
Lost I have to you today.

That "lyrical" style everyone keeps talking about is extremely irritating. It's like a retarded Yoda with Alzheimer's.

Patriot Act.
[pa-tree-uht] [akt]
Me says it good

There's alot more then that. Nonsensical wars committed against no one with particular reasons, simply as a means of keeping the people under check. To my horror, this strategy worked horrifically well.

Well, it is definitely more applicable now, not to say it wasn't then. Can anyone say Panopticon Act? Errr... I mean Patriot Act?

agreed. Also I love 1984, I have a BB poster above my bed (a proper one, nothing to do with that shite reality show)

I enjoy the lyrical aspect of my posts. I plan to keep that much.
The randomness will cease a bit as I make a spot for myself in actual discussion, if and when it happens.
The lyrical aspect isn't a problem, but combined with randomness it has a certain irksome quality. And perhaps it isn't random for someone inside your head.
Actually I used to know one person who posted in a beautifully lyrical way. You might know her. Lady (Betty) Aberlin. Yes, from Mr. Rogers Neighbourhood. She was involved in a few movies with Kevin Smith and occasionally made appearances on his webboard (which I used to frequent). She also shares my birthday, which prompted a few conversations with her. Just a wonderful lady, with a wonderfully poetic posting style.

Also, I think I need to read Orwell again. I read Animal farm and most of 1984 back in highschool, and liked them enough, but they were assigned reading, and thus I read them somewhat begrudgingly. However, since I have since graduated with a polisci degree, I'd probably enjoy them considerably more.
