Backtracked? I never asserted I thought SMBC was like anything else, ever.

Although, now the gauntlet has been thrown down, I shall.

SMBC is like a really good back scrub, with a quality flannel that has the texture of sandpaper*.

* Probably around an 800 grit, or maybe just a 600.

I live in my house, the only tiems I leave are for food/drink/party/work/shopping.

I didn't come across Far Side until I went into Waterstones and saw a calendar. This was three weeks after beginning reading SMBC.

There's no way you saw SMBC before you saw The Far Side. That's madness.

by Jesster » Sat Dec 24, 2005 11:22 pm

Funniyl enough, I hadn't seen Far Side until I'd started reading SMBC, so I assumed Gary Lason was ripping Zach off. I was shocked, and there was no infanticide within sight.

And the reason Zach comes up wiht funny stuff every day is quite simple, he has a team of monkeys killing babies and sacrificing their innards to the Lord of the Puns who then bestows His amazing comedy upon Zach each and every day.

Alternately, he may just be a funny guy with a creative mind, but I prefer my first explanation.

Big NO

This idea sucks, there is not a chance that anyone will agree with you on this one.

Awwww... that means we'll have to go back to laughing at whatever he types. For all the wrong reasons.

This has to be the most outstandingly arrogant opening to a resum? I've ever read! :D You're like some kind of god, sent here to keep us foolish mortals in line.

Come, my foolish brethren of the message board; let us not consider this Titan amongst men unfairly! He writes to us on our level, so we do not fear him, and he lets us bathe in the pleasant warmth he brings with every word! If we could but begin to know his depths, then truly we might have learned a hint of some greedily hoarded truth to the universe! All hail Chason!
