And since sin is pretty much just perversions of the goodness, then you wouldn't be able to really fetishize anything.
The verse on it being the absence of God is a common mistranslation. Here's an example of an incorrect translation that acknowledges that they may be wrong:

ESV
2Th 1:9 They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from[fn2] the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might,

[fn2] 1:9 Or destruction that comes from

It is more likely that the punishment actually comes from the power of God. How does it make sense that it references the power of His might otherwise? People focus too much on the fact that God is loving while ignoring the righteous judge aspect too much. He is more than any one thing.

Anyways, have fun with that.

Especially for me, I have a god fetish.
Oh yeah baby, work that omnipresence.
God, the ultimate voyeur.

That's right, turn into a rain cloud, you know I like that.

Pretty mmuch the same theme as this comic.
There was also a strip in Subnormality that discussed this in a (much, much) more comic fashion, about how different people end up in different sections of hell tailored specifically to make them suffer the most.
I guess even if one got used to it, the boredom would be the most unbearable part.
Does that really follow? You could say the same about life; "I guess even if one got used to living, the boredom would be the most unbearable part." Actually, that makes sense.

Maybe Hell will be custom tailored to people. Like for some, it'd just be a waiting room. Perhaps the eternal punishment will shift forms just before "festishisement" is achieved?

It's not the size of the horn, it's how you use it.

Wow, the devil really brings a new meaning to "horny."
