You'd probably fit in here if you bothered to join. Just to let you know.

Men who are jerks often try to lure in women by exploiting women's (unfortunate!) need to "fix" "broken" men.
So, women respond to a cry for help, only to get sucked into a toxic relationship.
... No?
Sure.
That doesn't make it funny, though.
Does it have to be?
Yes. If I were interested in comics that were unfunny, condescending, or derivative, I'd go read xkcd.

Wait, so is the entire island part of the sea monster's face, or does the island just float there in the ocean?
It really doesn't matter, but i'm confused and the drawing was somewhat ambiguous on the subject.

It may be a silly analogy, but given what's been going on in my marriage recently, I'm still showing it to my husband next time he's being a jerk.

I don't know if it makes any sense to have such an elaborate trap analogy... but given what's been going on in my marriage recently I'm still showing this comic to my husband next time I have to tell him he's being a jerk.

Why would anyone analogize their situation to something so elaborately stupid?

Okay, I didn't understand any of this. But I'm not convinced I care.

Not only is the trap ridiculous, but's relation to the "punchline" is pretty weak.
