Of course, the most dangerous invasive pest is species H. sapiens sapiens itself.


Where ever it's cropped up, it's destroyed the ecology, killed off all competing species (H. neanderthalis, for instance), and quickly wiped out virtually all the megafauna and apex predators.

One shudders to think what will happen when an alien planetary ecologist stumbles upon this "nest of invasives."
