Nostradamus didn't have any real valid predictions though. Although he did make a "your mother joke" in one of his quatrains, or so I chose to think. True story indeed.

Supposedly he predicted the rise and fall of Hitler, the assassination of John F. Kennedy, The great fire of London, and a third world war. But having read his book of predictions, I can say that it's a definite long stretch to believe that he really did predict that. His predictions are more along the lines of -

Bad man! BAD MAN COME FROM GERMANY
Bad man get beat,
HOORAH
(Elect me as presidante)

HOORAH.

It's supposed to tie to the 8th Century, but it's pretty obvious Nosty was talking about the 80s.
