I've been reading your comics for a long time now, and I registered to ask this question. I think I might have an idea where but I don't want to make a wrong assumption.

If you watch the news post he comments on his location frequently enough. While he was attending college he even let us know which classes he was taking, and you know the school's website listed the various ...

You know, I'm going to stop there, he lives in California, I'm assuming its his source since at least some of his family lives here, and he was married not that far from the city he's in.
