So! It looks like the Lexicon is Dead.

I wouldn't say dead, I just don't think I'm willing to work towards the actual game of it anymore. I may still post entries? I'm not sure. But working on a tight deadline was rather difficult for me.

We just forgot how the alphabet goes.

Today's comic is what the lexicon should have been.

I was thinking, perhaps if instead of us all doing letter A, letter B, and so on, everyone could get one letter? Give MM a, give me b, give cirutr c, lethal D, and so on. Then once we finish the alphabet we loop around. It might be more flexible, and we'd be less restricted. Instead of us all trying to be super original in the letter we are currently in, we'd have some general ideas. This might also provide for longer turns, as we could proceed to the next round if someone didn't do their letter. Just saying.

Zach has a point. Men would agree to that, myself included.

Want to start running it that way? I really don't care how we go about doing this, as long as it gets done.

I think the point would be that each person has a week to write an article. Presuming we start from where we ended, Person A would write a G article. Strict deadline in place. Whether or not they get it done, Person B would write an H article the next week, and so on. This would work reasonably well, presuming there are still some interested in continuing the game.
When we started I probably would have done 2 people a week, assigned to two letters (A and B), and then the following week 2 different people (with C and D). But that would be to get the ball rolling, and because we had more people involved. I'm not sure that is worthwhile now.
It would mean that we wouldn't have unwritten A articles or whatever, because we'd already be planning on looping through again. And it would give people a bit more time to get an idea (as we could figure out a few weeks ahead of time what letter, and figure an idea for it well before we have a due date).

I'm in if we're doing it that way.

I do so miss the Lexicon.
