Congratulations! Glad to hear all is well with you and baby Zeke!
Is he getting his own user name on the forum? I want to congratulate him on successfully escaping the womb. Also, I have the perfect avatar for him!

In my country, that be great honor. Do not insult my culture!Cirtur wrote:The squirrel-king? Any fool knows that a "blessing of the squirrel-king" is a most grave insult.
I will defend the honour of the lady, as she must now take care of her spawn.

Wow, your country is incredibly backwards if they still believe that the squirrel-king is anything more than a filthy tree-rat.Euclidthegreek wrote:In my country, that be great honor. Re: New People 2.0
Passing the kidney stone was at least over quickly, only about 2-3 hours. The labor lasted 58.52 hours, plus the loverly sensation of my spine separating from my pelvic bone. At least that was most of the pain from the labor, the contractions were nothing in comparison, yay back labor! I will admit I caved and got an epidural around hour 52, was somewhat neat since I collected a doctor from every populated continent (the whole set at the hospital I was at about 11 guys to watch it done and their leader to do it.). The stone hurt more while it was going on, but exhaustion definitely makes labor the winner.Euclidthegreek wrote:Which was worse, the labor or the passing of a kidney stone? Were you in any fit condition to hunt down anyone?
I could have hunted someone down, slowly though, very slowly.
The thought is sweet, but I've got a water gun so I have no fear of the squirrel king or his nut loving army.Cirtur wrote:The squirrel-king? Any fool knows that a "blessing of the squirrel-king" is a most grave insult.

I love the Avatar! Thank you for the congratulations Shoe (and everyone else who posted it here). I'm planning on waiting until he can at least hold his head up by himself for more then a few seconds before creating his online identity. His head has rounded out a lot since the first day, but the initial shape is pretty cute. He also chirps and makes a bevy of weird and suspiciously animal/dinosaur like noises.Neglected Shoe wrote:Congratulations! Glad to hear all is well with you and baby Zeke!

He had a rough first week, but its picking up nicely and everything is working out well. Hopefully I'll start actually coming around and posting again any day now.

I think they gave you the wrong baby... that doesn't look as much like a dinosaur as I was expecting.
p.s. glad it's going good.

Well the scales are really hard to make out in that picture, much more visible in person.
