Post More Inane Drivel

This thread is now a place to go when there are two or three people on the forum just kinda standing there hitting refresh 'cause they don't have anything interesting to say. This is a good place to talk about things that nobody else on the planet could conceivably care about*, just so that it's a little less awkward. There is no topic of discussion, and no post needs to have any connection to any other post. Talk here just to hear yourself talk! I'll begin.

I really like goat cheese. I wish they made more kinds, though. I can only ever find the really soft, creamy stuff - which is delicious, understand - but I can't see any reason not to make more kinds. I wouldn't mind seeing a goat Swiss, or a Goatzarella (not to be confused with the giant goat of the same name that married Godzilla and lived happily ever after), or a goat Roquefort.

*Yes, I am aware that this could describe the entire forum. Yes, I am going to post this anyway.

Not really cool with goat's cheese. By specifying the animal it reminds me that cheese comes from an animal which puts me off the whole idea. I'll stick to cheddar.

You can make all kinda of cheese from goat milk! Canadian cheesemakers now make goat milk versions of many varieties, such as Cheddar, mozzarella, Gouda, Camembert and Brie. Sadly no swiss tho.. perhaps goat milk is too runny to get the bubbles to stay in it?

Mmmmm... At our annual wine and cheese party I've gotten a Cranberry Goat Cheese log for most years. So good.

My favorite cheeses are:

Edam, Pepper Jack, and Tiebo (totally forgot how to spell it, but I get it at this Argentinian bakery, and it's really good).

So, I keep waking up at 13:00. It's weird, because I go to bed at different times, but always wake up precisely at 13:00.

Khazd, that's an interesting name and an appropriate-for-this-forum avatar. Good to see you here.

I'm trying to think of lexicon tidbits to scatter across the Forum, but I am distinctly uncreative when not in conversation with people.

Next you're gonna tell me that we're not using the Franciscan Calendar, either.

Thanks! its an abbreviation of my real name. As to the avatar, some clown from another cubicle put that on whilst I was on the can, but I like it so it will stay. Now all I have to so is view the security footage to find out who it was, and then the little box under my desk labeled "the Gimp" will finally have a resident! Oh happy days!

For some reason I've got the song 'Awesome God' stuck in my head.

::edit::
And now it's 'Mexican Radio' by Wall of Sound.

This is Outlands, where Doubleposting is semi-okay!

I'm gonna make me some peanut-butter sammiches and go for a walk. Or maybe head to Five Guys and pick up a large fry. Hot potatoes help cut the chill of early spring, right?

Mountainmage, you have the helm. What do you mean you're not here? FINE! I'm putting the Forum on Autopilot.
