I need a band name

Since you are all completely insane, perhaps one of you might be in a really creative mood tonight.
In a month, my new band will play it's virgin concert, and we really can't come up with a good band name, because everything we think of is too fucking brilliant for the audience we are supposed to play for (which consists of 16-year-olds who can't decide what smells worse: their girlfriend's hair or their father's ass).

So far we are - by default - called 'Hitler en de Hitlertjes' ('Hitler and the little Hitlers'), but some (c.q. everyone but me) of the band members think that is not a good idea.

So. Any suggestions, anyone?

Doesn't The Netherlands have some pretty insane hate crime laws? I think you could get in trouble with a name like that. Do you want to tell us a bit about your band to give us something to work with?

The Netherlands haven't had a government in 115 days. It's anarchy! (And no, it's not illegal, but probably frowned upon.)

I have a band of brothers - It's members are Some Dude I Once Knew, his little brother, my little brother and Moi. We'll just be playing twice, accompanying nine singers who will sing at an 'open mic' contest; so our repertoire is mostly classic pop songs. But I was actually looking for a completely unrelated, far fetched name.

As a non-native speaker, 'far fetched' was a phrase I learned from Pokémon. It was so educational back in the days!

Uh... Man, over the years my friends and I have come up with a handful of ridiculous names, and then said, "Oh, that would make a good band name," but I foolishly neglected to write any of them down. And now the pressure's on.

The only one I can remember is 8-Bit Bikini, but that is probably a bad example, since you are looking for good names.

Here is this thing.... I Googled 'Band Name Generator. http://www.bandnamemaker.com/ It sucks but maybe it can inspire you to create something great.

What kind of music do you play? And what were some of the names you've come up with?

Edit: Oh, sorry, missed the end of your last post somehow. Pop music, hm?

I'm going to be looking for some names too, actually but that won't be for a few months I don't think. Anyway, some ideas off the top of my head, I don't know how well they will translate though.

Names we have thought of:

- Broos (which is Dutch for 'brittle', and is pronounced 'Bros')
- Before hoes
- Devil's lullaby
- Scavenger's seat
- Johnny Kebab and the seven Jedis (since none of us is called John, we aren't made out of sheep, there's just four of us, and the force is really weak with us)
- The rapists (but that would be stolen from Eddsworld: http://www.eddsworld.co.uk/eddvault/com ... IC0025.jpg)
- Fuck

But those are really terrible names. Like Kovvy, I usually say "that would make a good band name" quite often, and never write it down. So here we are starting a band name archive! Hurrah!

I really liked 8-bit bikini and Doubleplus Lunchtime. (Might be because I skipped breakfast.)

'Neo neo modernist' is kind of catchy. It has a swing to it.

Also possibly Pajama-Clad Shopping Spree, but that's more of a punk/ska name than a pop name.
