A story in the workings

Post by ianeve »

It's called Botroom Blitz, and every chapter is named after a rock song. It gets updated around once a week.

30. If you're new here and you want to promote your webcomic/blog/comedy website, do so in your signature. If you post a thread about it, expect to get exiled to the Outlands or banned.

Wow, my bad. I'll do just that. I thought I'd post it in the creative writing stuff because I wanted feedback on the story, but whatever.

Oh wow. I assumed you were a spambot, since your post was exactly like a spambots post but shorter.

I'm not convinced it's not.

I have four chapters written of the damn thing. If spambots cost anything, I couldn't afford it.

That looked promising. I have read the first chapter, and I will not start with the second one, but I'm sure there will be someone on the internet who likes this. It's about a giant flying red spambot. Lots of peoples like giant robots.

You sound like you put a lot of love into it. Still not even going to follow the link though.

It's a matter of principle. If you had actually been participating for a while this whole thing would have been avoided but alas, you did not and therefore you're barely a step above spambot in the hierarchy of Things We Care About.

I'm still unsure. And I would have said it was a "matter of principle" if I'd been sure of which principal/principle to use. But I was too lazy to look it up. Feel the shock, it is powerful shock you should be feeling right now.

Principal is the administrative position. If you want, you can as a trick: a principal can be a pal because they are a living human being, a principle cannot because it is an abstract concept and therefore incapable of extending the friendship and goodwill necessary to ever be a true pal.

My principals sucked, they were certainly not my 'pal'. :)

Ah yes, but in theory they may have been someone's pal. (I realise it is unlikely, but that's grammar for you.)

As I was thought at the University (before I dropped out): "In grammar, a person is someone who can give you a cookie."
Sorry (socially) handicapped people. You just aren't grammatically personal enough.

The dark side has cookies, it's implied it will give them to me. Is the dark side grammatically a person?
