Enh, I'm used to the fact that I was raised more by books than by my parents. They're just the people that provided food and shelter, while writers provided morals and ethics. As for the study, I would like to see it confirmed with another study by a different group before I accept it as a fact.

Yeah.. I know I'm mildly insulted that a shorter lived race that reaches maturity in a matter of years not over a decade developing skill sets before my larval-eske spawn.

The research about care conditions making such a critical difference in infant development has been around for decades. We already knew if you touch an infant during its larval stage it'll develop faster and with less cognitive disorders. Whereas one that is just left alone and fed with minimal touching is going to develop significantly less and have a much higher likely hood of severe cognitive problems.

That's right, all those parents using baby bjorns instead of actually holding their children are increasing the odds of retardation. Fun fact!

I think you have that backwards. Womenfolk are supposed to do the child-rearing, food-cooking and love-making. It says so in the consitution.

I carried the damn thing in my womb for an undisclosed number of months. He can deal with it until its out of the larval stage. I think that happens vaguely around high school, I'm unclear on it.
