Perhaps I would feel differently if I had personally clawed my way up the food chain.
But, y'know, I didn't. I was just born here.

You're taking your position at the top for granted.

But you are taking your place in the economy of nature, with the upgrades that your every ancestor passed down to you by consumming a jolly mix of meats and plants. We evolved to a point where being omnivorous is what we're good at. And besides, we need proteins. Pills are just so much less enticing.

Except vegetal proteins are way less efficient in that fashion than meat proteins are if my biology classes are not too outdated*.

*Are they**?
**most probably.

Honestly if it's marked on the menu that there are bacon bits I've got no problem with it. It's your salad/perogies whatever, make it however you want. What does bother me is when they list all the ingredients except bacon bits because it just makes ordering/getting food harder. And if you explain it to the waiter they just knock off the ones on top, maybe some restaurants are better but in my experience it's easiest just to pick them out yourself which means I finish about twenty minutes after all my friends. It can be really frustrating and this is why I never order ceaser salads in restaurants anymore unless I know for a fact they don't have unlisted bacon bits.

Also I get my protein from eggs, beans, tofu, cheese and peanut butter. No pillz for me. :)

Fuck the only thing I eat there is peanut butter, and not much. I'm not up for eating a few pounds of peanut butter a day (I have a large appetite). I'm having a fucking steak today.

Beaver (hehehehe)
Rabbit

I think thats it.
I have yet to try Lobster, mostly because it is expensive, and it isn't something I'd just order. Which goes for most seafood (occasionally I'll get some callamari, and now and again I'll order a shrimp dish).

I get nearly all of my news from the Internet or TV. Personally, I wouldn't give a damn if there were no more newspapers.

Hear hear, BigRed! I don't care about newspapers either! I don't give much of a damn about news altogether, in all honest. Anyway, less to clean up at work, anyway, everyone makes such a mess with them.
