Re: This week in Australia
Dear Forum Goers,
I'm just wondering. Does anyone think America will do anything when we are invaded by China?

Probably? Seriously though I don't know why China would want to invade Australia. Their are some third world countries around it that would make more sense to do first.

Re: This week in Australia
The reason we aren't third world is because we have a lot of resources. Like uranium, coal, iron ore, aluminum, water, and land. All of which China needs. Plus on the news right now they are accusing Australia of stealing close to 1.6 billion dollars from them... the kind of thing that, if handled poorly, can lead to invasion.Cirtur wrote:Probably? PLUS they have the numbers to invade whilst Australia's army is so small that they hire private security guards to guard their barracks. Our population is not dense except in a few (five/six) cities, so there's basically a big expanse of barely inhabited coast line waiting for the taking. Hell you could wage war on us Cirtur (as in, you as an individual) and we'd probably loose.

Yes, but that's probably because of my manly figure.
Anyway I think America would definitely intervene, as a result of the UK being a part of the commonwealth, or just to stop the DIRTY communists invading.

You guys have three countries to our one. If we have to bail out Australia, we are going to take possession of it too. Evens out everything.

The only ones I can think of offhand. If there are more, then we definitely need to conquer your holdings.

It turns out you people have 16 countries. We will take Canadia and Australia and you can have the rest.

Yes it's quite depressing that apparently the Queen has more official power in Aus than in the UK. *sigh* hopefully this will change soon, if K-Rudd will get on the situation like he said he would!
