National Railroad Safety Week ended today with the epic battle of Train vs. Ute. Guess who won.

Is this that "Ute-gate" thing that was going on? I completely missed that and have no idea what it was about. Apart from involving at least one ute.

No. But we do like utes in the news. Mostly because people who drive them are either 1) dumb and dying, or 2) making idiots of themselves.

Ute-gate thingy was Ruddsy maybe getting a free car and pulling strings for his friends in government. All in all turing out to be a great big made up story that had noting to do with him.

This is just a ute crossing the rail tacks and being rammed into by a train.

I see! Well I can realise the practical use of utes on farms and stuff, but it is annoying when you see people driving those fancy versions around in the city. But not nearly as annoying as Pink Hummer Limousines. WHY DO THEY EXIST!?

This thread would make considerable more sense if I had any clue what a ute is.
Oh, wait...
It is a sports utility vehicle, isn't it.

No, it's slang for a person who lives in the U.K.

Keep up with the slang, man!

Ute doesn't make any kind of sense. If it's short for united then UNITED IS IN YOUR COUNTRIES NAME YOU FUCK

They're Australian, they don't ever make sense.

PROTIP: it actually is short for Utility Vehicle.

I was just amused by the way Rail Safety Week ended. Not to mention that there is a Rail Safety Week.

We have lots of weeks and days and shit. Today is probably world sock day or something.

So the main point of this topic is that something tragically ironic happened?

Am I meant to wear socks, or respect them and not foot rape them today?

They enjoy it. If anything, you should put multiple socks on.

Okay, but you have to as well. Which I imagine is going to be more of a hindrance for you, since it's summer. But it's winter here, the more socks the better!

You act like I go outside often.
