You didn't go through three in a row? When you got back to America surely there was a third waiting for you?

I did that when I went to Japan. I just lived in cold for a year and a half.
That sounds great to me, personally.

I tell you, it was shocking.

Yea, if I never had to experience another hot and humid summer, I would be very happy with that. Seasons are over-rated.

Oh shit, it was three in a row! If things could just stay like they are at the end of spring and the beginning of fall that'd be awesome.

Personally, I like the changes because I begin to get sick of the heat/cold after awhile. It was really really good to miss the last month of Winter at home and get an extra month of Summer before I head home in a few days and get to go straight into Spring.

Yeah I don't believe it either. Socially he's a little better but the same cruddy economics. That social side nullification might be enough to keep the Libs in power though.

I should write for the SMH. I was a little appalled by how cruddy the journalism was there. All these Gotcha! articles about various politicians in big tabloid format and lurid over-dramatizations.

Oh yes, the state of print journalism in our country really is terrible, but that's what happens when one man named Rupert Murdoch owns all of the papers and is more focused on furthering has agenda than any sort of journalistic integrity or desire to stay neutral.

I'm so pissed he owns 73% National Geographic as a for-profit corp now.

It sure is. I glanced over at my Grandma's copy of the Herald Sun the other day to see the front page article was all about how the perpetrator of the Port Arthur Massacre (Australia's most famous mass shooting) is now really fat and bald.
Seriously, that was the whole article, over multiple pages of gloating about the current status of his 'once slim physique' and 'formerly flowing blond locks'.

National Geographic has fallen so far. Even Canadian Geographic, which is still a non-profit, has been skirting a lot of controversy over the last few years for being heavily pro oil sands and giving magazine sponsors too much control over editorial content.

Hmm the cone thing must be on the west coast or further up north. I've never been warned about that one.
