Well, then. I had to check several times to make sure this wasn't somehow a satire.

One of the many examples of why I don't like working around cranes:

Weirdly, I can't find any updates on injuries and such. There are some stories that say 20 people were injured, but that turned out to just be an early guess based on the size of the shops that were crushed. Only one injury was actually reported at the time.

From what I've read on SA's traffic engineering thread (with a followup in the OSHA violations thread), there ended up only being one person with an injured hip and one dog dead. People had been looking at the thing slantwise the whole day and had largely cleared out of the danger zone before the fall.Kaharz wrote:One of the many examples of why I don't like working around cranes:

Since when is chemistry not a science?

Still better art then the piece of butter rotting in the corner (which suffered the same fate once).

Now the art is even more legitimate! The cleaning staff should get credits on it now.

Oh yeah, no one's denying that the murder rate is way higher in the US. You don't even need to link statistics. Though I do admit Kaharz's post reminded me of the news article.

Damn. I did my best, but I'm just one man. Next year, Ontario. Next year I'll push us into the lead.

Store your loved one's ashes in a 3D-printed urn in the shape of their head
