He stopped the goal with his hands! Now isn't that against the laws of Association Football? Unless of course, you are Keeper of the Goal. But the Uruguayan Gentlemen was not the Keeper of the Goal ! So he was ejected from the field of play. However, his heroic actions of preventing a point being scored via illegal methods kept his associated Team in the competition. Now Ghana (which conveniently rhymes with Indiana and to a lesser extent Louisiana, but to a greater extent Ban(d)ana(yamv)) have been ejected from the competition due to not capitalising on the subsequent Free Shots of the goal.

Uruguay, I'm a girl. Can I make it any more obvious?

Looking forward to tomorrow's game. I'm cheering for Germany, though Paul the Octopus is predicting Spain!

Paul is an Octopus in West Germany who has successfully predicted all of German's games.

I know, just, they usually forget to mention it is an octopus, or that they are insane for trusting a West* German octopus.

*Also, the cold war is over.
