That's similar to a review of my old school orchestra's last recital. Only the Echelforde Orkestrels can make Ode to Joy sound more like the Rocky Theme Tune than Ode to Joy.

Look, I've always treated rabid sports fans as being "special", but when they actively start participating in spreading the silliness, it's probably time for an intervention.

On a side note, few things are less appealing than cud-chewers...

I absolutely love vuvuzelas and I hope they catch on for every sport so that people who complain can understand that they are taking games way too seriously.

So enjoying sport is taking it to seriously?

Because I would definitely be complaining if they became standard at football or hockey games.

And neither I take too seriously. I don't take any competition terribly seriously. That doesn't mean I want these things annoying me for every sport.

That said, I have no problem with them for this World Cup, I just would hate to have them take over every competitive event.

I find this sort of thing to be far more annoying than vuvuzelas, but do you see me ranting and raving about how terrible it is? Nope, because I know that it is terribly silly to get angry about games.

I think everybody should bring in whatever instrument they want to a game. Fuck, sports are so boring so it'd be nice to have something weird going on in the background.

Maybe we could have secondary sports, in the stands? Like at football games there could be cricket.
