Dudes, may I present some folk poetry, meant to illustrate April Fools day and its rules:

[An excerpt from the end of the sage, detailing the events of April Fools day, once noon has been reached]

"But past midday the fun is gone
And YOU'RE the fool for carrying on."

If I still gave a damn about the Lexicon this would be quite good for it.

Yes, I'm going to talk about MS Paint Adventures again. This is probably the last time.

For those of you who were interested in reading it, but were frightened off by the daunting size of the archive, or if you didn't want to read it but still want to see what I was raving about out of morbid curiosity: someone compiled all of the chapters into youtube videos. You can literally view the whole story (at least the images) in less than 15 minutes. Who knows? Maybe it will pique your interest and you'll decide to read the real thing. (Technically you spoiled it for yourself, but it's enhanced by the text that goes along with the pictures. Plus you can't just knock it off in 15 minutes. Or, you can stop midway through the videos if you don't want to spoil it.)

Chapters 1-4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9LT4Kd1ETM
Chapters 5-7: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=od2JzcnDPv8
Chapters 8-10: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1BbCKpAmGo
Chapters 8-14: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WuvFs8v_opk
Chapters 15-16: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHRH2ZSJoDI
Chapters 17-18: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IzTD2oMsPIY
Chapters 19-20: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhB0sdooO10
Chapter 21: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6CbTt7-D8U
Chapter 22: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjX2GvJZicE
Epilogue: To come

The creator described it: "It's quite an experience going through the story in this way, at such a fast pace. It's sort of like learning kung fu in the Matrix. Or being strapped to a chair and learning kung fu in A Clockwork Orange. Whichever experience is more intense."

That is one of the most incredible things I have ever seen. However, you really really do need the text to know exactly what is going on.

I know, right? That's why I said it might be better to read them instead of watching all of the videos, if partway through, your interest is piqued.

Here's a rare event: I found a comic that I like by virtue of a Project Wonderful ad on another comic's page.
It is called Cowbirds in Love, the art is pretty terrible, and there are a lot of puns, but there are some gems in there.
Police said they spent some time working out if they could charge the man with being armed with a weapon, as technically he was armed with part of a fish.

I've been powering through the archives in my spare time, and I have to say that I do enjoy it. So far, my favourite is this one.

So, in looking through the CIL archives, I found a link to a comic that I had seen once and then forgot about despite my better efforts.

Unwinder's Tall Comics is one of the most interesting comics I have seen in quite some time. Thereare only about fifty comics in the archive, so it's fairly easy to catch up on it.

::edit::
Also, Snowflakes is okay, I guess.

Snowflakes is genius. Shows that there can be humor without vulgarity.
Just like an std, will never fully go away.

Yeah I read through snowflakes, well what's there so far anyways.

I like the premise, but I'll wait and see where it's headed before passing any real judgement on it. It seems to me at this point it can go either way.

Anyone want to start a forum comic? Basically, of the people who want to do it, we have a rota. You get your comic online, you get a point.
