The most interesting feature (so far) is that you can see each letter as the person types (because it's IM crossed as well). So people can't take back shit they say. It also has a 'playback' so even if your not online when they're typing you can still see them change their minds about calling you a hoe. I like this idea since in chat / IM I try to have a 'no delete' policy. It makes it slightly less predictable.

I'm horrified by the idea. I have a tendency to type things out a lot less nicely than I intend to be, and I'm always going back over what I type to make sure it can't be taken as offensive when I'm not trying to be. To be different here, I am trying to resist the urge to not type what I first write up, and I'm already cringing at what my fingers have managed to punch without my brain having to type to run through it and make sure it is concise and coherent.

Great, so if I use this I'll have to type everything in notepad beforehand and review it? Sounds like altogether too much work.

I often type in a racist joke, say to myself that I can't send that, and then send something vaguely non-committal.

This makes me want to see you all on this form of chat all the more. Because you can't hide as much, and racist jokes are funny, unless it's about the Irish, then it's not.

That's odd, I find racist jokes against the Irish especially funny.

Whenever I visit Ireland, my dad hits me if I make a racist joke about the Irish. He made up this rule that you can't impersonate the accent of the place you're visiting.
