I personally have nothing against Mac. I know some people that find Mac awesome, and for the good reason of their interests in graphic design and such. There are some great things about Macs.
What I don't like is Mac elitism. While I find the Mac ads somewhat amusing, I generally dislike the attitude that they portray. I don't like that Mac users think that their O.S. don't stink (it's not terrible, but it isn't perfect either).
That's the way I feel.
Personally, I will choose . I quite need a new computer and have begun to look around. Alas, I can't really afford it, and I need a new and better job...

I'm siding with Lethal on this.

Mac advertising, "culture", etc. = lame, unnecessary, and frankly insulting to consumer's intelligence.

Mac's themselves = honestly decent computers for graphics/design work, and perfect computers for the functionally retarded end user*.

* My sister works for Mac, and she doesn't even know how to do basic computer maintenance on a windows machine**.

** a Laptop that is perfectly fine, and isn't even two years old yet, that she sold to my girlfriend. this thing was so clogged with malware, spyware, and AOL toolbars that I had to do a complete nuke and pave, and I had to reformat twice just get all that crap out.
