Sounds like a good idea for an SMBC, if it hasnt already been done.

"Happy Anniversary Honey! Guess what I got you!" "Um..I give up!" "Well...it certainly isn't an STD if that's what you were thinking!"

There totally is an SMBC that is very similar to that one. I just can't think of it enough to search for it.

Well, judging by these posts, I think we can safely conclude that this Inane Topic is awesome.

I think that people made it awesome.

it's a philosophical question, like is math created or discovered. Are topics awesome, or do we make them awesome?

I've never heard that one. I like it. I would lean towards discovered though, as we change them as we learn more about the universe (on the more applicable side) or have larger computers to process data (on the more theoretical side). Though, I wrote stuff several times only to delete it because I still wasn't 100% convinced.

As for the awesomeness? We make it awesome. Definitely.

I like to think of awesomeness manifested sometimes. In my theory, awesomeness (or awesomnitude) manifested wears shades and travels in an extreme fashion. He needs a pot noodle, the dude is gonna surf to the kitchen. Without a wave. Or liquids.

This is a good word. I think awesomeness manifested in it, too.
