Betting
The line:

Craze      +4 1/2   +150
Jaydee     -4 1/2   -180   36 1/2

We will be taking bets until Friday (9/12/07) 11:59pm PDT. over/under and the spread will be the standard 11-10 bet ($11 bet wins you $10).

Weigh-ins are Thursday. The competition starts as soon as the Mediator posts the first question any time starting Saturday 12:00am PDT.

Participants are not allowed to place a bet without bribing me first.

Participants
Combatants: Jaydee (home) and Craze (away)
Judge (current regular poster who had the highest one's digit in post count at the time of posting this): MountainMage
Mediator (current regular poster who had the lowest one's digit in post count at time of posting this): Simon.

Rules:
The Mediator will ask the same question of both combatants. Each then has 1 day (excluding weekends) from the time the question was posted to respond. After both responses are in the Judge can post scores for the round and the Mediator can post the next question. The Mediator need not wait for the Judge to score the round to post the next question. There will be 10 rounds in all. The Combatant with the most points at the end of 10 rounds is the winner.

Scoring:
The Judge will award each Combatant with 3 points for a great answer, 1 point for a good answer, and 0 points for a bad answer/no answer/late answer.

i'm still in for craze to beat the spread and going with the under. however instead of an 11-10 bet, i'm going in for a 4-3 bet with beer as the currency.

I love this.
That said, I don't know anything about betting on sports and the like.
Perhaps I'll finally have to do some research to more properly understand the terminology around this type of gambling.

I think I should take the easy way out, like I did with all homework.

Looks like I'm the mediator why not. So these questions I'm asking, I'll start on Monday so as we start afresh in the week, what with the weekend (Excluded for some reason?). I GUESS YOU HAD BEST BE PREPARED.

I'm not sure what the whole time zone thing we've got going will do to this. I can't say I really care either. My Monday is your Monday. Feel free to get me to cough up questions earlier though if you want to start right away.
