I would like to throw this geminto the competition, if I may be so bold.

so i have tragic news. Hamsters City is on indefinite hiatus. I just had the following email conversation with the might Hung (yes, that's his real name):
ruotwocone wrote:hey hung, what happened to the comic? no updates in several months!? Blasphemy! Anyways, just hoping the comic comes back up soon.
hung wrote:the comic take a long time to make. if more people was reading it then maybe it would keep going. you must be mad because I have 300 page of storyline layout and you can't read them.
maybe if everybody emailed him (hung@tokyomanga.com) to get going again, he'd get it back running. I can only assume he is easily bullied into our bidding because he is both from the bay area, and he's asian.

Good one Epoch.

Well as much as I like Hamsters City, I really don't. And I never went back there after the original *SCOFF SCOFF SCOFF* when I first saw it. I didn't know you actively kept up with it! I'm actually kind of impressed! In the same way that a man is impressed by the toilet cleaner who goes in the pipe and finds the waste of society, so that the rest of us can look at it from afar and go "Coooorr Blimey", or "Crikey" depending on where you live.

You've used your haiku,
but you only get one chance,
to win back our hearts.

NEW HAMSTERS CITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got the following email from Hung this morning:
"page 42 of Hamsters city is now up.
-enjoy-"

Did you all see how his email veritably reeked of manliness and studmuffinery? What a guy.

Awesome. Though I do feel like an ass encouraging him to keep spending time on the comic by visiting the site and writing emails. Good thing he doesn't check his logs and see who's linking him and get to this forum. Though I don't know if his English could put together what we're saying anyway.
