Annoying Signatures

So.. I've been browsing the forums the last few hours, and something keeps glaring out at me, and I'm just not sure how to complain about it the best.

So my answer, make a place to complain, so everyone might join in, or in the future complain about another doing the same damn thing.

Whats spawning this is nothing new, someone has a god awfully annoying signature. Its happened plenty a time before, I'm sure it'll happen again. This one compared to some of the epilepsy inducing flashing monstrosities that have come before it not even that bad.

But it is large, indeed more so then most forum post all by its lonesome. Its also links(poorly) to another webcomic which just seems somehow rude to do in Every post one makes or has ever made. Its humour is a funny once in nature, a small smile perchance when first coming across it. Hardly something I've got to see 5 times a page, which with this person's frequent postings it seems to work out to.(I know factually it doesn't, just feels like it.)

So it is with hopeful trepidation I ask AHMETxRock to please change his goddess be damned signature to something less glaring. Perchance just a link to the comic instead of the full thing stuck in there? Really anything text will be far better then the graphical nightmares you find.

I think it's my fault. I was the one who first mentioned Cyanide and Happiness!

Don't blame yourself for this Mountain! People should take credit for their own mistakes and this is his option. Its hardly like you showed him How to post images in his signature, sadly thats a skill he already possessed, oh if only we could inflict enough head trauma to remove it!

You know, if he had used a good C&H comic, I wouldn't mind as much. As far as their best goes, that isn't even top 100.

There is no comic I want to read 5 times every page, let alone a good one.

Well, don't stop to read it?

It's still a visual annoyance, though.

Thank you for removing it Ahmet, hopefully you'll avoid any graphical attempts to stand out in the future. Its a hope, small and fragile but still there.

I will stand out less and less. Like a communist
Also, I knew of Cyanide and happyness before I knew of SMBC, let alone getting recommendations here.

Your joke is missing something. A better joke would've been something like "Like a communist during the McCarthy era" or something. Still not particularly funny, but far more apt.

I was actually going to say something about the Chinese giving up their individual freedoms and stuff for the greater good of the country. But then I remembered the travesties that occur and that I personally wouldn't like that joke. I know.

Or you could use the less offensive, more apt example of the panopticon... errr... I mean Patriot act.
