I have a facebook. It went like this.

Me to friend on computer: ...And that is why I never plan to join facebook.
Friend: And done. Now you just have to upload a photo and change your password.

I have very intrusive friends... I suppose I could have deleted it but then people I hadn't seen for a while added me and I was afraid that if I did they would hate me. I'm slightly neurotic sometimes

As it is I only visit it when I get an email telling me something of significance has happened, and actually I find it to be a little too invasive, which is probably why I visit it so infrequently. But I did recently join Livejournal and I love it! All my other friends (all three) who belong to both disagree though so maybe I'm a little nuts.

Myspace - yes but I never go on except to answer mail from friends
Facebook -yes but I only use it to stalk people (joined to see what the hub-bub was about and literally heard my room mate scream 3 minutes later that I joined.)
LJ - yes. But since I stopped drinking and doing drugs I don't use it

My friends forced me to make a myspace, but I rarely visit it.

That's exactly why I'm on Myspace, Twitter, and Facebook. Damn you, Danish friends, and your adoption of various internet phenomena!

Odd, I have two friends from Denmark but they found me on Facebook.

I got into Facebook near the beginning, same with Myspace. I deleted my Myspace account once the spam got crazy. (And everyone's page had music and glitter on it *shudder*)

I only got into MySpace for the music and newsletters from artists and so on. Never done anything with it, though.
I also got into Facebook relatively early. I think when I joined I could only find about a dozen friends and family. It grew exponentially about 6 months after that.

These things are memes. They'll fade out after the initial excitement passes, but with a dedicated few it will live forever.
Twitter is one of these things. I got a myspace account to speak with my to-be girlfriend. I got a facebook to speak with the same to-be exgirlfriend.

Had a myspace, deleted it once I got a facebook. Got a facebook, deleted it yesterday because it really distracted me. I expect my grades to skyrocket.
