I was just making the point that every once in a while we do get a female politician who gets close the Prime Minster's seat. Not that she would have done better. And the only reason I use her is because the vote was a lot closer between her and Harper than it was between Paul Martin and Sheila Copps.

But I don't think she'd have gotten a majority, not unless she did something really impressive that people didn't foresee.

Interestingly, I liked Copps a lot more than I liked Stronach. At least as personalities. Even though I tend to throw my vote to the Conservatives.

I never particularly liked Stronach, but I never disliked her either. She didn't have much of a personality, but she was more intelligent then some of the other female politicians running around in that party, and I didn't really disagree with her politics.

I agree about Copps though, I quite liked her. It's too bad she's gone, the Liberal party could use all the help they can get at this point.

Today I was the victim of the digital equivalent, something called "Project Upstream;" a (harmless) bot system using AOL Instant Messenger that contacts two random people to engage in a completely random conversation. According to their website they are "an organization dedicated to promoting social ideals through the use of exciting new technology. 
Project Upstream's most well-known service is our swarm of robotic fish, which spontaneously connects AIM users to each other."

The friendly AIM bots have a countless number of screennames and have been seen as any of: (something)Salmon, (something)Trout, and (something)Coho. The opening message or "icebreaker" from these screennames varies, and the user screennames contacted appear to be gathered from LiveJournal, deviantART, Twitter, Xanga, and Digg. Messages sent may be altered in some way, such as being changed to piratespeak, old English, or changed to rainbow-colored fonts. The feeling you get when you receive that random IM is quite like being RickRoll'd.

If you poisoned their food you probably wouldn't want to make out or have oral or sex them in general, lest you get some of what you gave them. That must have been agonizing minutes or seconds before they died.
