I find it unfortunate to inform you that many people would find a remark such as this offensive. The original point I was making was not to refer to Kate as a sex object. Many women don't like to be refered to as objects. I'm not sure I'd say that all good sex is violent. Maybe the sex that you prefer is always violent.... as long as people don't equate violent sex with rape, since there is a very distinct difference.

The making love thing creeps me out a bit, too. Maybe because it sounds to mushy-girly-sweet, but maybe because I've always been kinda sketchy about equating love with sex. Love and sex are not the same thing, though they frequently happen at the same time.

Obviously I am not saying that good sex means being tied down and beaten with a short length of rubber hose during the act, although that does sound fun.
