Yeah, I haven't watched it yet, but I've heard some friends say it's good and I appreciate the sense of humour those friends of mine have. I'll keep a lookout for it.

Hmm I would say I find both hilarious, but you have to understand that for example a devotee of zombie movies would probably like Shaun of the Dead more, and a devotee of cop action movies would similarly gravitate towards Hot Fuzz.

I don't even like cop action movies, and I love Hot Fuzz. Plus, it's not a cop action movie in the traditional sense of the genre anyways. It even has some elements of splatstick in it.

I know, but I'm saying it's a send up of the genre - so someone familiar with action cop movies would probably like it more than Saun Sean of the Dead. And vice versa.

Actually, the movie is "Shaun of the Dead"; I prefer "Sean" but you just roll with it ya know. Anyway both movies are obvious parodies and homages to their respective genres, but both of them are so good I think they can be appreciated outside of that just as easily.

People always spell my middle name wrong because it's a spelling that's not so common in North America, but it doesn't really bother me because I don't use the name for much.

Fair enough, I guess I know way more horror movie fans* than cop movie fans, which explains why most people I know prefer Shaun of the Dead. I honestly liked Hot Fuzz more.

Back on topic. Sort of!

Every morning when I wake up, I check to see if I am in an alternate reality. There is no way to tell for sure, no tell-tale signs that I could find, but I will still keep up the search. Never again do I want to be caught so off-guard.

It is not a pleasant experience at first, to find your world so radically different to the one you remember, but in time the strangeness becomes a familiar feeling a comforting constant in a sea of changing uncertainity. Who knows what will happen next? It could all change again in the blink of an eye, it might never change again. Still, I am here, I am still me, and the day still has 24 hours. Another 24 hours trying to find my feet.
