I'd be interested in it though, posting it somewhere like google code we could get at it would be neat.
Sweet, what scripting languages have you used before?

C++/#, Java, Html, some python though not much, some perl again very little.

Hence having to learn new stuff to really do most website stuff nowadays, I'm utterly unfamiliar with more modern web-scripts other then python. My java is pretty old school.

Does this hint at Ashe's mysterious job? Or did she already unveil that a while ago?

No, her mysterious job was working with chemicals and stuff. I doubt her scripting skills came from that job, but I could be wrong.

Yes I find xkcd hilarious, though I have to outsource some of the more hardcore programming jokes to people I know who actually do that shit for a living.

It was only useful at my job for being able to correct the software guys stupidty on occasion, and being able to read/follow their code and explain it to the mechanical engineers. (The software and mechanical engineers were fighting over my tool the last 2-3 months I was there, it was epic.)

I don't think it was ever revealed what exactly I did, but I don't anymore so I'm not sure... does it really even matter?

Everyone knows that I have a job at a library, so they know that I don't work for a living.

Ashe, you can use C# for web stuff quite effectively thanks to .NET. The sites I maintain at work are all done in Visual Studio with VB or C# back-ends. The only caveat is that you need a server running IIS to be able to execute the code (or compiled DLLs for that matter) and parse the ASPX pages.

I was aware its used for that, I'm just unsure how to go about setting up a site in it is part of it, I'd have to learn a new functionality of it. Most of my experience with that is trouble shooting other peoples code to make it run, not writing it myself. I'm still stuck in html for actually thinking how to write sites for the most part. Back when I maintained a server/site its what I used, you know, back in the way back days. Part of it is I also just don't care right now unless I start doing such things again.
