I was deliberately misunderstanding for the comedy.

Oh wait sorry I meant we need heart to heart chats. I am scared of love!

One day, maybe, someone might like you some. But, I wouldn't keep your hopes up for love. You just need to be realistic.
If we weren't such good friends, I'd wish you were dead.

Well that's lucky, because I am afraid of it. But as long as you're sure it won't happen I am okay.

Other forums I've been on, people have actually managed to meet up. I think the desire is just not as great as the hassle/expense for people here. I don't know many of you, personally - like your personal lives. It's mostly just jokes - not closeness. I think that's the difference.
Well, I don't even have a personal life.

This is my personal life. Wow. I... suddenly feel sad.

I like Cirtur in a completely platonic manner.

He isn't stuck up. Like some people...

astasia wrote:My opinion on the Skype Chats:

1) There were too many people. You couldn't hear/understand enough of what was going on, except for whoever spoke the loudest/longest (namely, Frostbite). (I imagine this got better as more of left. It probably improved the conversation.)

2) It was hard to connect voices with people speaking - mostly because of the too many people thing, though - it was difficult to keep track of who was lighting up as they spoke, especially with people speaking over each other. Some, that didn't matter for, however, like Cirtur, 'cause he's the British one, or Rainbow, 'cause she's the one who sounds eight.

3) Some of you sound like nice, normal, happy people. Some of you sound like nerds. And some of you sound like serial killers. ...I'll let you decide which category you best belong in.

4) It was kind of cool to put a voice to a poster. But, this would have been much less awkward if it involved an smbc-together. You know, in person. If all of us weren't socially awkward, lazy, agoraphobic internet dwellers than we could almost consider one day trying to plan it.
My opinion on your opinion:

1) I personally found the number of people to be pretty manageable (I think we had like 10 altogether). A lot of the people who weren't piping up as much were people who were doing other things on the internet and/or were just content to listen to the banter (or at least that's how I interpreted it). If you were paying attention to the conversation and to your skype window, it was pretty easy to follow what was happening and add your thoughts into the conversation. I was actually happy that frostbite interjected so often, because there were a lot of awkward silences/statements that needed someone to pipe in with a joke or absurd statement, and Cirtur bailed too early :P

2) I had that problem as well, but once I got into the swing of the conversation, it was pretty easy to tell who was who. But then again, I'm a very auditory person.

3) I've known jocks who have really nerdy voices... it's something one doesn't have a lot of control over. Also, a webcomic forum? With nerds? Stop the presses!

4) While it'd be cool to all meet up in person, that doesn't look likely given many factors. I personally am content to talk to you guys on skype every now and again.

On that note, if you or anyone else sees me on skype, feel free to ask me to voice chat.

Disclaimer: Sorry if I seem particularly sardonic tonight. I'm tired and cranky.

I don't have heart-to-hearts, myself, because feelings are for girls.

This is something that's always upset me. If I wanted to seem less like a serial killer than I look, I'd have to open my mouth and say something in my regular, everyday voice. Unfortunately...

I think I can clarify what she was trying to say:

I'm sorry I'm outing your feelings publicly to everyone.
I found teenage boys gross when I was a teenage girl.

I haven't had sex with a man under thirty teenage boys.
See? It's all a matter of emphasis. And seriously, who would want to have sex under thirty teenage boys?

My guess would be either orgy, bukkake, or gang rape.

Bukkake was the right answer, but that doesn't exclude the other two at all, really.

You are totally right. I only feel girls on their chests to feel their hearts, but I don't let them reciprocate.

Ha ha! Two votes for me, one against! Take that, world!

Does anyone else find it funny that the person bitching and moaning about the whole event said all of 5 words during it?

*shrugs* I knew it would be an unpopular opinion. And, like I said, multiple times, if you all enjoyed it, then, I think that is fantastic. I'm an auditory person as well, but, I still stand by what I said.
