Other forums I've been on, people have actually managed to meet up. I think the desire is just not as great as the hassle/expense for people here. I don't know many of you, personally - like your personal lives. It's mostly just jokes - not closeness. I think that's the difference.

The big issue is that while we're a pretty small forum in actual member count we're very spread out. I'd give it a shot though if it was somewhere in california, or a similar driving distance from my location. Say at one of the conventions Zach will be gracing, it'd make sense.

I'll try to be around one of these Sundays, but I'm normally busy as its my only day in real life I actually socialize with people (My weekly dnd game).

*shrugs* I didn't find it very enjoyable. But, as I said, it was just my opinion. My social interactions I tend to avoid the situations where it is all about just who can dominate the conversation most by speaking loudest/longest. I just prefer more personal, real, deep, meaningful kind of conversations - punctuated by hilarity. But, there's a reason why I don't get along with most people/enjoy parties. I like true connections. I just didn't get that vibe at all.

If you all did, then, I think that's great, and I hope it continues to work well for you. I'm just different.
