Does anyone else find it funny that the person bitching and moaning about the whole event said all of 5 words during it?

You don't need to be quite so antagonistic about it. Stating an opinion is hardly bitching and moaning.

Personally, I would have spoken up more if I thought I could get a word in edgewise, but I've never been one for large groups. I'd talk with one or two people at a time, in the future, though.

Personally insulting by saying you talk a lot? I mean, it's the truth, no? You could have just counted the total number of words and seen how many were spoken by you. It's just being honest.

I missed out on the party, but I do think it is important to fill in the gaps of conversation. The biggest flaw is being unable to tell whether someone wants to speak up or not. I suppose just saying "Oh hey mr chatterbox, I'm going to say something now and you're going to like it". That's what I would do.

Frostbite, she didn't insult you. She said that you dominated the conversation, and that's not a bad thing. You choosing to take offense to that is like me getting insulted when someone walks up and tells me I'm short.

I know I'm short. Well aware of it. If I get insulted by that, I'm the one assigning negative qualities to it, not them.
