so I just moved to MA two weeks ago...

Post by GirlsDontDoThat »

We have been living with my boyfriends parents for the past two weeks until a semi-indefinite time in the future.

And here are some of the things I miss already.

My friends, naturally.
Co-workers who A) speak the same language, B) speak to one another (this one especially)
Driving my car.
Not having to hide smoking pot and drinking like a teenager.
Getting beligerantly drunk.
Living in an apartment building with friends and friendly people all around.
Listening to music.
Watching movies.
Cigarettes costing less than 8 god damned dollars.
Taco Bell.
Utz potato chips.
Loch Raven.

Here are some things I don't miss.

Rap music.
Litter.

I'm sure this post probably comes accross as mopey. We'll, it is. I'm moping. I'm homesick.

Also, Boston accents are still stupid.

Quickly, we need independent confirmation of this terrible, terrible dearth of a terrible, terrible restaurant that has delicious, delicious Fiesta Potatoes.

Taco Bizzle.

Let me count the ways I love you.

Orally.
Anally.
Stoned.
Drunk.
Sober.
Hung over.
Ovulating.
Mestruating.
And at the end of the month when rent has been paid and I have no money but three dollars in nickles and pennies in my coin jar.

Ah Taco Bell. To no pleasure, no rapture, no exquisite sin greater.

I have no knowledge of this 'Taco Bell' , except it purveys Mexican Food and somehow involves a chihuahua, hopefully not in the food itself.

That is a filthy lie that you had better not believe because it is literally not true.

Police said they spent some time working out if they could charge the man with being armed with a weapon, as technically he was armed with part of a fish.

Well then, attests to be purveying 'Mexican Food'...

You mean there was an actual chihuahua? I just thought it was a mascot, like Ronald McDonald or the Burger King.

In Australia, Burger King is called Hungry Jack's, and they don't have a mascot. Or they did, and he likely died of starvation years ago.

Ha.
So you miss out on all the intentionally creepy "The King" ads? Too bad, I quite like them. Or at least I like them when they are creepy. The Star Trek promo ads were pretty crap.

So the house I'm living in I just realized has a secret room! Spooky. Very Valley of the Dolls.

A large percentage of my dreams are about finding a secret room in a house. I'd love to do it in real life.

It was kinda spooky. But cool. I also found some hidden rooms at the bed and breakfast I work at today. I felt like I was in the secret garden.

And speaking of dreams, I had a strange one last night. All these kids were throwing rocks at caged birds and I told them to stop and throw the rocks at me instead.

How strange. Symbolic, maybe?

Doubt it, unless some kids have been throwing rocks at your pet birds.
