Re: Moderation
What? I'm basically too busy with work and school to post mondays, wednesdays and fridays during the day. But fuck, if MM starts posting a bunch then I guess my tenure as mod was incredibly short.

Re: Moderation
Ahmet is right. We need a Mod who is dedicated to the Forum, and who will bring a sense of dignity and decorum to the position. This is why I am nominating newcomer SturnMeattbut for Co-Mod.

Re: Moderation
It's funny, I don't recall doing any actual mod-work. Ed is the king of spam-bot banning, and there wasn't much of anything for me to do.
Just as much good as watching the video of Ahmet wrestling with his friend.LordRetard wrote:If anyone finds the youtube video where I show up for a moment and flip off the camera and start yelling at the cameraman for no apparent reason, well I don't know what good that does anyone.

Re: Moderation
I sent a pm to a guy who didn't read it. I don't think he'll be back.
But yeah, it's not as if we have a large enough population to merit any sort of serious modding.

Re: Moderation
It keeps me on my game, though! I mean, as long as there is the threat that someone will do my job better than me, I stay focussed on the job of being as excellent as possible.

Re: Moderation
Well, I guess I did do some modding, like if someone accidentally messed up their bbcode I'd fix it for them, assuming they didn't get to it first.

Re: Moderation
So, are you back for good then, mage? I ask so I know whether or not I can demote LR back to just a plain ol' member, rather than a Global Mod.

Re: Moderation
I have to admit, Barry is appearing to be a better candidate at the moment. After all, he's online right now!

If we go by who's online the most I wonder who that is. I know I spend a lot of time on here but surely not enough to beat some of the more prominate members of htis society.

Re: Moderation
What an interesting question.
Made more interesting by the fact that while most of you are at peak posting times, that's when I sleep.
Whenever I'm online, 30-40% of the time so is Edminster. And some days all my waking hours are spent checking for updates to the forums. So, Ed definitely wins.
