Just try not to rip off the title of Everyone Loves Raymond/Everyone Hates Chris. Be original. (Not that there's any place in sitcoms for originality, except for The IT Crown and Trailer Park Boys, two sitcoms I have recently come to love.)

There are a few good sitcoms around, well I don't know if Arrested Development counts as 'around' anymore though... but it's fantastic.

Actually, it may be the only 'comedy' role I've like of his. Or it was, until Yes Man, which I really liked. Ace Ventura has lost all of my respect since I'm no longer 12. The Mask is pretty much the same. Liar Liar and Bruce Almighty* were mediocre at best. And I didn't like Me, Myself and Irene at all.
And then his 'serious' roles*. Man on the Moon was good. Truman Show was good. The Magnificent was... underrated. Eternal Sunshine was one of the best movies ever.
*I was very apprehensive about Evan Almighty. I didn't like the first, and a sequel, recast, was a recipe for a worse movie (especially since I most often find Carrell annoying outside of The Office). I was wrong. Carrell was himself, but the script was better written then the first, and it was more enjoyable in general.

I believe you're forgetting one of his funniest movies, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls. One of the few sequels ever to be better than the original. That movie had so many funny moments...it was just great.
