I'm happy the forum regulars are starting to come back. Namely Cow and Frostbite. Now all we need is Wolf, Fenghar, Avalant, Shoe, Astasia, Ninja, Khazd, Laneth, Cheez, Ruo, Twobuy, Greencrayon, and anyone else I forgot.

I'm not leaving but I'm spending less time being silly. Maybe I'll draw something. I dunno.

Given that I only ever leave to go on holiday, I reckon I should get some sort of medal.

I've never left! Well except for that brief stretch that lasted nearly three years. Totally doesn't count.

I've only ever left when I've been forced off by a huge workload and an Internet connection that only worked about 20% of the time (A.K.A. student teaching). Just saying is all.

Also rainbow. Fenghar was around pretty recently, possibly as recently as last week.

I hope she doesn't have many rose bushes. That's just be sad. We keep our kitty ashes in a pretty wooden box (the vet arranged it and had the ashes put in the box, we had little to do with it) on the mantelpiece. When visitors say "oh isn't this pretty" we tell them what it is, most of them ask if we're joking, then freak out when they've been assured three times that we are in fact not joking.

Also: Welcome back Smiley. You where missed. Don't ever leave again. Please.

I think Smiley's going to post a picture of a forest of rose bushes.

Thanks! I will try my best not to leave again, but it all depends where my next student teaching placement is. Either way it's not until March.

We never had any cats until about 7 years ago, but then we also got barn cats. So there's about four rose bushes, one for Greebo, Shredder, Krang and Godzilla.

I don't see anything wrong with keeping ashes of cats on the mantelpiece. Actually I think it's rather sweet.

I wish we could clone dogs cheaply before they die. I'm gonna miss my dogs a lot when they die.

BUT IT WOULDN'T BE THE SAME DOG

and if I know clones, and I do, those dogs would attack you for no reason.

It may not be the "same" dog, but emotionally it would make you feel better.
