Yeah! Chocolate chip cookies!

Oh, wait...
Oh no!

e: Oh, plus lots of spicy fresh hot cross buns.
We are apparently having baclava for easter dessert. I, for one, am looking forward to it. Mightily.

Knowing that you have never eaten baclava fills me with a profound sadness.

I can only eat one bite of baklava in one sitting. It tastes too unhealthy (but delicious) and is too much syrupy goodness for one mouth to take!

I tried it from a packet once. Not nice. Much better when the pastry is rolled on the thighs of a Turkish virgin. Note: I have done this, for comedic purposes, although I can't be sure if she was a virgin.

That doesn't really seem like a very good surface for rolling dough.

At all.

It's not! You just get covered in flour and pastry and foodstuffs, and then you forget about preparing the baklava.

It's almost like if baklava was a turtle.

Yeah. My former roomate lived in Turkey for a few years in childhood, so he introduced me to it. Actually him and his wife had a whole Turkish dinner (including baclava for dessert) made by a group of his family/friends for his wedding rehearsal dinner. It was delicious.

Smiley: I have never ever seen those yellow marshmallow things for sale except for in American shows etc. I may not have been paying attention. That is more likely.

Lethal: White chocolate is not fine. 0_0 I thought it might be, but it has the same affect, why? It makes no sense!

Oldrac: Cadbury Cream Eggs? And I think my heart may have just had a preemptive attack.

Kovvy: Carob is gods way of saying we should die. Jelly Beans on the other hand have potential! Maybe I'll melt the edges of a few of them and stick them together to represent an egg like shape. It will not only be fun to put together, but also dismantle! (I will maybe be too lazy for this)

Cookies: Oh wait, isn't it Anzac day this week? That's getting a little overshadowed if it is. But I could use it as an excuse for the best biscuit/cookies ever. Anzac Biscuits.

Chocolate Chip Cookies: It's not real chocolate if it's in a cookie right? It doesn't count right?

Apoc: Hot Cross Buns are well and excellent, and also already in extreme use. They have replaced bread this week. Who needs bread anyway? I am also going to look at that greek-style easter menu in detail.

Baclava: God yes. I will find a way to make you work for me. Baclava is so very very nice, and also rare enough that it will feel like a treat. (Turkish Pizza places why have you abandoned me?)

Green Crayon: I too am sad for you. You must correct this, else I will always think of you as an incomplete human being.

Well, daggit. But, I have it on good authority that each and every one of you wear orphan-skin hats.

Definitely.

It's probably from the cocoa butter. White chocolate doesn't have cocoa solids, which prevents it from being real chocolate.
However it still has cocoa products in it, which is what I suspect you are allergic to, Kimra.

Anyway, hope everyone had a good Easter!

Yeah. I believe I've heard that chocolate allergies can go both ways with white chocolate.

Did I not tell everyone what I ended up having for Easter? I'm sure I have, but I'm gonna tell you again in case!

I had: Greek bread (with a strange eggs baked into it)
a tray of baklava (which was about 50 pieces)
a strawberry and cream lollipop
candied easer eggs (I love them)
easter cookies!
marshmallows
random gluten lollies of excellent (allens retro party mix all the way!)

And other stuff. But it was so long ago I've forgotten. (plus real food)

Ta da! I sugar overloaded with the best of them.
