This all seems rather irrelevant considering that an outside person can tell with a fair degree of certainty that a person is not actually cold, even though the person reports being cold. Admittedly I do not know very much about heat regulation in the body. Once again, this is rather disconnected from how people actually use language and what the word, de facto, actually means (ex. http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/cold#Adjective definition 1. "Having a low temperature").
