What are some strangely tasty foods you've tried?

I developed a taste for pizzas with an egg cooked in the center when I was in France.

I once spoke of my ghetto pizza, where I take leftover pasta and toast rolls with sauce and cheese and meat and have that together. The criticism was the carbs were fairly high.

I'm none too adventurous, but Baked Potato with sour cream, cheese, pepper (black) and tinned pineapple is a favourite.

Tinned Pineapple? Is this different from typical fruits? Or is it an indication or mediocre taste?

I understand that. If it were myself I would have just said pineapple. So I'm asking why it was done. It's not some sort of flaw. I always eat fresh fruit though.

Canned pineapple doesn't taste the same as fresh. Perhaps that's why it was specifically mentioned? Plus it's easier.

I had cheese and nutella on a slice of bread once in Primary school. It was surprisingly tasty.
Oh, plus that Cambodian fermented fish paste is delicious when cooked into dishes.

There is this restaurant in Baltimore that does some weird and tasty things along with more tried and true recipes. Macaroni and cheese made with smoked gouda and dark chocolate powder tastes like smoked bacon. They also made sushi with pop rocks on it, that was a a bit too weird. They apparnetly also have a braised pork belly appetizer served with marinated tomatoes and ranch ice cream.

Their food is usually all very good. I've had some fish that wasn't stellar and most of their deserts seem to suck for some odd reason. Except for the fried smores, those are awesome.

Ahaha sorry but the word s'mores reminded me of when I asked my Mum what s'mores were, and she refused to believe that they were an actual thing and stated that it was probably slang for any food people want "s'more of".
