Sorry for your loss but I'm very happy for your financial gain through life insurance. Need a bit of a neutral smiley here, how about :|

I have a lot of stupid and occasionally funny injury stories in general. I am very prone to accidents and also to having people lose their shit and try and kill me. Also inanimate objects try and kill me often.

Yeah this happened to someone I knew, just hours before a guitar performance.
Friend 1: Duuuh, hey, I bet you can't touch the top of that ledge up there, duh.
Friend 2: Duh, I bet you I can. Duh. *jumps up, swipes the top of the brick ledge, and swears profusely.*

Good times.

Also I got a paper cut while reading twilight, I felt that I deserved it

Yes. Having your palms and lower lip split open and embedded with gravel, and half your front tooth and it's nerve knocked off certainly canes like a bitumen.

I wonder though, what you've been doing to brick walls to deserve that?

Oh, yeah. Me too. Ended up in hospital. Stayed the night. No souvenirs. D-- Would Not Visit Again.

Still, on a scale of 1 to papercut-on-the-lip, it's only a 27.3.

As a result, I drink 3 litres of fluid per day, and suck in my lips wherever paper is involved.

Last time I was there they gave me IV morphine,* a TV to watch, a very nice room with the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The thing had air pockets that would inflate/deflate according to how my body was positioned to be support my weight. They also brought me food that only kind of sucked.

I got some cool metal plates and bolts in my neck as a souvenir.

One of the complications of kidney stones is "torn asunder"

I got to have multiple mouth surgeries and gained a great complex about my teeth which has resulted in more multiple surgeries because of my skateboard accident. Prolonged pain? Me = win.

I fell off a skate board once. I'd have said I'd ridden one once, but that implies there was actually a period of time where I was on it and it was moving.

I imagine it being like every single one of those skateboard skits. It's just lying around and you accidentally step on it and then bam you end up on the ground with your ass in the air just as the socially awkward rapist walks past.
