You have no idea of the hoodlumania here.
I actually FEAR TO WALK THE STREETS AT NIGHT because of chavs. Everywhere. This one chav came up to me while he was drunk, threw his arms out (a la Jesus on the crucifix) and started singing the national anthem to me. He then asked me where the nearest takeaway is, I pointed him to the Star of India (which was right next to us) and he said "but... they's pakis int they?".
I left him to it.
