Team Fortress 2 SMBC server

Post by Simon. »

I urge everyone who can to get this game, it's pretty fucking awesome. Hopefully they'll be releasing more maps soon, they say they plan to release another 5 every couple of months, so we'll see I guess.

As for the server, I searched for it, but nothing came up, have you got the IP for it Zach? That would probably help.

Yeah I did, nothing came up. I'll give it another try before I go to uni now though. Yep nothing. I tried 80smachine.homeip.net port 27015, and the correct way to put it in, 80smachine.homeip.net:27015, I think. No servers were responding to my query.

well... the first semi-official gaming of the semi-official (or is it totally official now that we hit the front page) SMBC TF2 community was a rousing success. it comprised of simon. and myself dominating some 2fort for about an hour... oh yeah! Actually it was more like the 2 of us sitting in the middle of the standings, but still there were some high points... like when we discovered the awesome turret killing ability of the ubercharged scout bat... the uber scout? uberbat? uberville slugger? awesomeness nonetheless.

Looks like some people on this forum are awesome! The two-twins and their Australian counterpart (me) that is! Not anyone else though. We had some more awesome games today, where I had my first encounter with Twobuy on TF2. Can't remember how we all did, but there you goooo, 3 players beefing it up.

GOOOO TEEEAAAAAMM.

Sorry, I took down the 80smachine server because I dont have the game. I'm fighting every urge to get it.. but.. i'm.. starting.. to give way..

If somebody wants to work with me over IM, I can get it set up. You guys could use it for practice before conquering the outside world.

That's supposd to read:
"I don't have the game and therefore can't test it".. not read:

"I dont have the game so I don't feel like setting it up for all you funny looking weirdos"

Thanks for the clarification. It did seem kind of snide and bitter at first.

I'm sure ruo can help as all he does every day is hide from his wife in his computer room and play TF2; I'm pretty sure he plays at work too. His forum-username @hotmail.com is his MSN IM which he's on all the time.

i get a "server not responding" message when trying to connect. In your defense i have yet to be able to connect to a server using a host name/ip address even on valid servers. is there a name for the server... i.e. "SMBC - total fragalation all maps TF2 Server" that i could try?

yeah, try searching for smbc.

Alternatively, for debugging, try 71.135.166.111:27015
