Yeah why would I go out and buy a portable console when I have probably $1k of merchandise sitting around at home? I still need to buy a Wii, though. And there are a buttload of PS2 games that I simply cannot find anymore. It blows, not having money.

Right now, two nerds are arguing VERY loudly about WoW behind me. VERY. LOUDLY.

Tell them that you've touched breasts before, and that's something they'll never be able to level due to their career choice as nerds.
IF they respond that they've chosen a tauren female and totally could, just leave.

About 4 other WoW nerds joined the fray, so I left regardless.

Honestly I think you could've taken them on. Their time playing WoW has left their bodies in a state of extreme atrophy.

Even so, I'm a lazy bastard so it was too much of a hassle.

That is not the kind of attitude that kept commie paratroopers off my lawn.

Yeah, but you had a chain gun. You don't need to have an active lifestyle to use one of those.

I guess so. I mean, I did have it attached to my recliner.

I have played wow a bit in the past couple months, and to be honest, its just not that exciting.
I just cant get into it at all.

Maybe its because I hate the idea of quests being the same "kill 10 of these guys and their leaders, get 98 exp" bullshit in the earlier levels.

Maybe its because I chose to use a rogue early on (who did get to level 32 btw) that just sucked hardcore, or maybe its the fact that the guild I was in just happened to be run by a micromanaging dillhole who wouldnt take anyone elses ideas into consideration.

Theres also the whole time and money situation involved, i.e: I have a full time job that requires that I be there at 2pm and stay until im done cleaning into the wee hours of the morning; and I have absolutely NO desire to pay $30 per 2 months to play a game I already spent $40 fucking dollars on.

whatever it was, I just cant get into it.
If youre into it though, by all means. I can see why people play it, but eh...ill pass.

oh, one last thing that made that vein in my head bulge out a bit:
Image

I loved game fuel when it came out originally, and Ill probably end up hoarding cases of it to sustain myself for years to come, but CMON, really? world of warcraft soda?

that is all.

Haha, oh God. I'm amazed they can even it over their. No energy-drink company here would risk their reputations by suggesting they cater for nerds and computer geeks. I guess it would be a good niche to tap into here for a new company, though. I'm already scheming of one right now.

This reminds me of the Gamer Razor (or whatever it is called) that Gillete (I believe) put out this year. Penny Arcade referenced it at one point.* I mean, really?

*About a week after the PA reference, our Walmart got a full skid of it, sent from one of the shutdown Sam's Clubs. It made me laugh.

Yet on the commercial, the "gamer razor" is being used by professional athletes, not gamers.

Oh right, duh. Sometimes I can get confused over the simplest things.
