I watched this last night and did not get any of the hype why it is meant to be good. I know it is apparently very true to the book but in watching it it just felt like it was repeating itself over and over (well it was, from different peoples perspectives), and this made it feel like there was no real direction of where the story was going next, just with painstaking slowness it pushed out the predictable and not so interesting story, not focusing on the love story, just following this lame sorry for herself woman who didnt change her hair style in 70 years (which I felt was a very lazy way of showing it was the same character). By the time it got to the not so unexpected twist at the end I was already sick of it.
