TF2 bupdate

Post by Simon. »

So what are the thoughts on the latest Map and medic achievements? I like Goldrush a fair bit, there seem to be a lot of places that can be a bit hax, even though they can be taken out somehow. The new medic unlockable items are pretty awesome, but to get them all will take a freakload of a long time, 1 million heal points!? That's like a year of playing exclusively medic. Unless you entered that cheat that made you get all of them unlocked instantly. As people were running around doing, instantly. But that's the internet for you I guess!

Get TF2 if you don't already have it!

seeing as how i have more time logged in as a medic than any of the other classes by a ton, i was way over the 1 mil heal points when they added that achievement. i'm just pissed that my heal record is a little over 9400 in one life... less than 600 heal points from that f-ing achievement! also i hate how all those poser medics are playing as them now. i feel like a fraud for playing medic anymore. assholes

I totally agree about that. All these nub-fuck medics are running around trying to get their achievments up, and just getting themselves, and anyone they're healing killed*, and they have no idea what they're even doing. I didn't think that the heal points you already had racked up counted? It's good if it does, but other people I've talked to seem pretty adamant that it starts fresh.

*A good example of this was a guy ubering me around a corner with 2 sentries around it, and then stopping and running off to uber someone else just as I walked out.

I want to say I logged most of my time as medic when I played.

How do you know? Maybe he wants to say he logged most of his time as a medic, but really he logged most of his time as a pyro.

Yeah but he's already said it, he doesn't say he wants it to be true, just that he wants to say it. And he said it. For instance I want to say "I am going to play TF2 right now". But I'm not, although I already said it.

I'm going to go play mariokart.

It isn't really Mariokart. Its Mario-different vehicles.

Oh yeah and I decided to check, I did log the most time as a medic.
