It looks like I cannot do anything about that issue, but I did find out that I can make it incredibly difficult to register. I opted not to. Looks like I get to talk to Zach about the whole thing after all!

Here's the text I got when I did a test registration to doublecheck the issue:
Registration Process wrote:Your account has been created. However, this board requires account activation by the administrator group. You will be approved within 24 hours.
So, it looks like this is now a non-issue?

Now that Mage has acquired a Spam Detection Apparatus, I think we should be pretty good. Before I found that message, I was aiming for turnaround of no longer than three days, but apparently that is no longer good enough. All I know is that Zach thinks we can do it, so I shall do my best to not fail him.
